We Are to Tell Others about Jesus
Just as Jesus came into the world so that people might come to trust in Him and be saved from their sins, Jesus has sent the church throughout the world to tell others about the salvation that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Paul understood how important it is to believe in Jesus. He would write letters to help other Christians remember what is true about the gospel and encourage them to share Jesus with others. Paul said that all we must do to be saved is to confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead. Anyone who does this will be saved!
In our Key Passage, Paul says it is important to share the good news of Jesus because if people do not hear, then they cannot believe. We can’t keep the best news to ourselves. We need to tell others that they can have forgiveness of sins and life forever with God.
When Jesus went back to heaven, He told the believers to go into all the world and tell people the good news. He said He would be with them as they shared the gospel. The Holy Spirit was given to believers to help them share Jesus with others. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can boldly share our faith. Just like the apostles asked God for help as they shared the gospel, we can also ask God to help us as we share the good news!
DISCUSSION QUESTION #1: Why does our sin need to be forgiven?
ANSWER: Remind kids that sin leads to death. (Romans 6:23) Discuss how God is holy and perfect. Tell kids that God must judge sin because it goes against His holiness and perfection. Explain that sin must be forgiven so that we can be saved from death and given life.
DISCUSSION QUESTION #2: How does sharing the gospel show we love God and people?
ANSWER: Lead kids to understand that Jesus said if we love Him we will obey His commands. Discuss how our love for God should increase our desire to help others know Him because we have experienced His grace in our own lives. Tell kids that we love people when we desire they be saved from their sin and know the life Jesus gives. (Optional reading: John 21:15-17)

MORNINGS:
God, we are so thankful that we have a way back to You through Jesus. We need Your help to share the good news with the people in our lives. Please give us words to boldly tell others the good news! Amen.
EVENINGS:
Thank You, God, for the Holy Spirit and the way He works in our lives. Help us respond when You show us areas of sin in our lives and help us follow You as the Holy Spirit leads us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
