FAMILIES OF HOPE
We, at Grace Church Frisco, take seriously our Biblical mandate to care for orphans and to protect the fatherless. We are partnered with the Christian Alliance for Orphans, Embrace Texas, Lifesong, Child to Family Connection and other organizations to help children in our own community who are in need of love, hope and care by supporting the families that are caring for them and by bringing these children into our own families.
At Grace Church Frisco, we also strive to offer support to families that have already adopted children. Our Growth Group meets the 3rd Monday of each month.

VOLUNTEER
From creative supper clubs, to mentoring, to organizing in-kind donations, to beautifying our campuses, ACH Child and Family Services has volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Most Volunteers will partner with us on a one-time or episodic/seasonal. By joining our team, you can advocate for kids and families we serve within the community.
ChristianWorks for Children addresses the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of children and families facing life’s toughest challenges. We provide accessible counseling services, free support groups for grief, divorce recovery, post adoption care for adoptees and birth moms, and parenting education. By offering these resources, ChristianWorks helps families navigate difficulties such as death, trauma, and significant life changes, ensuring they receive compassionate, faith-based support. Volunteering is a powerful way to invest your time and talents to shape the future of our community. So, come have fun with us! All volunteer opportunities make a meaningful impact!
CASA
Court Appointed Special Advocate for children
Volunteer Advocates are everyday heroes making extraordinary differences for children and families. As a CASA volunteer, you are a member of the community who receives extensive education and training in order to advocate for abused and neglected children – who through no fault of their own – are thrust into the complex child welfare system, and often, into foster care. As a Volunteer Advocate, you are empowered by the courts to provide best-interest advocacy with the child’s well-being placed at the forefront. CASA volunteers work to ensure that children don’t get lost and lose healthy family connections to an overburdened system.

Every day, Catholic Charities Dallas helps our community’s most vulnerable. With the help of our volunteers, we empower others on their journey toward hope, independence, and a better life. For information on individual or group volunteer opportunities and internships click here.
Embrace Texas created Collin House to give children entering foster care a warm, welcoming place to stay while they wait for placement. An expansive yard, cozy bedrooms, and kid-friendly details give children the normalcy and dignity they deserve.
We appreciate help with fundraising, donation gathering, guest blogging and more – and we welcome supporters with diverse talents and skills. Let us know how you'd like to contribute to fulfilling our mission.
Foster family support programs | Child to family connection
Embrace provides life changing programs to vulnerable children and their caregivers. By partnering with Embrace, you’re helping children lingering in the foster care system find the love and stability of a forever family. You’re ministering to foster parents through respite care, support groups, and valuable training. You’re supporting teens who “age-out” of foster care without an adoptive family. When you volunteer or give to Embrace, you’re making a difference.
Jonathan’s Place depends on the generosity of volunteers to help bring a smile and a helping hand to our children. While our staff provide exceptional care for each child, volunteers allow each child to get more personal attention.
Volunteers at Jonathan’s Place are involved in a variety of areas including: direct care with the children, administrative assistance, sorting donations, landscaping and grounds. All of our volunteer opportunities are on our Garland campus.
We combine data-driven program design and expertly trained staff with a philosophy of care that keeps everyone focused on the goals and strengths of each child and their family. There are many ways to share your time and talents with PCHAS. Join us for meaningful service opportunities that strengthen communities and change lives.
Safe Families for Children provides a safe home for children and a supportive community for parents while they get back on their feet. Parents are provided with the space and support they need to address the issues impacting their ability to provide the best environment for their children. This network of relationships and resources keeps children from entering the foster care system and ultimately helps keep families together. The goal is family reunification.
There are many ways to get involved with the Safe Families for Children movement. We believe everyone has a role to play in helping keep children safe and families supported! Will you be a part of the solution?
We transform the lives of children and families through a broad array of comprehensive child welfare programs and services. Our volunteer positions offer flexible opportunities, whether you have an hour a week or a day a month, we have various roles to fit your schedule. Choose activities that match your interests and expertise, making volunteering a rewarding experience for you and those you help.
Volunteers are vital to the work of breaking the cycle of child abuse. As you give of your time, your talents, your encouragement and care, hope rises in the hearts of the children you serve. New stories develop in their minds and memories. Stories of healing and hope replace the damages of abuse.
Support Youth Transitioning from Foster Care to Independence
We support youth through a three-pronged approach: Relationships: Each participating youth will be teamed up with a trained and caring adult mentor. Not only will they focus on building a relationship and having fun together, but they will also work toward the youth's goals and help establish a foundation for a successful future. Resource Connections: We will connect each youth to resources in our community to ensure their needs are met for housing, education, jobs, and more.Life Skills & Recreation Youth will learn hands-on life skills with their mentor and in a small group setting. They'll also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of recreational and social events.
