Grace and Peace to you brothers.

As we draw near to the close of this year, we turn our hearts to a theme that encompasses all we have learned throughout these fifty weeks: worship. Yet worship is not confined to Sunday mornings or corporate gatherings, it is the totality of our lives offered to God in gratitude and devotion. Paul's exhortation in 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God," reveals that every action, every decision, every moment is an opportunity to glorify our Creator. This week, we invite you to consider the profound reality that your life,in its fullness, can become a living act of worship. Ask yourself: How does this reorient my daily work? How does this transform my relationships? How does this reshape the way I steward time, talent, and resources? As men called to holiness and faithfulness, we have the privilege of making every aspect of our existence a declaration of God's worth and supremacy. Let this be the week you awaken to the sacred potential of an undivided, wholehearted worship that extends far beyond the sanctuary into every corner of your life.

Prayer:

God, teach me to be a man of worship, glorifying you in all I do. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

1 Corinthians 10:31:
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Meditation:

Consider how you can make your entire life an act of worship to God.

Quote:

“The Lord bids each one of us in all life’s actions to look to his calling… He has appointed duties for every man in his particular way of life… so that no task will be so sordid and base, provided you obey your calling in it, that it will not shine and be reckoned very precious in God’s sight.” - John Calvin

Book Recommendation:

Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper

Why Men Must Read This Book

Every man carries a deep-seated fear of reaching the end of his days, looking back, and realizing he accomplished nothing of lasting value. Don’t Waste Your Life is the antidote to that fear. John Piper cuts through the fog of modern cultural expectations that tell men their highest goal should be professional success, a comfortable retirement, and a collection of adult toys. Instead, he issues a battle cry for a life of dangerous, joyful ambition.

Men should read this book because it validates the desire to live for a cause greater than oneself. Piper dismantles the safe, "peacetime" mindset that leads to spiritual atrophy, replacing it with a "wartime" lifestyle that demands strategy, risk, and sacrifice. It challenges you to stop drifting through life and start steering with intent, whether in the boardroom, the mission field, or the living room. If you are tired of the low-bar expectation to simply "stay out of trouble" and want a vision of manhood that combines rugged theological depth with radical action, this book will equip you to make your one life count for eternity. Don't settle for a legacy of seashells; read this to build a legacy of glory.
