Grace and Peace to you brother,
As we enter week 28 of our journey together, we invite you to focus on deepening your trust in God. This week’s prayer asks the Lord to help us become men of faith, relying on Him in every aspect of our lives (Hebrews 11:6). Take some time to reflect on the areas where you need to exercise greater faith in God’s promises. Let’s encourage one another to step out in trust, knowing that He is always faithful.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to be a man of faith, trusting you in all things. (Hebrews 11:6)
Meditation:
Reflect on areas where you need to exercise greater faith in God's promises.
Quote:
“My hope lives not because I am not a sinner, but because I am a sinner for whom Christ died; my trust is not that I am holy, but that being unholy, HE is my righteousness. My faith rests not upon what I am or shall be or feel or know, but in what Christ is, in what He has done, and in what He is now doing for me.” – Charles Spurgeon
“God’s guidance is wiser than you are, and you can be confident that He has arranged everything better for your eternal good than you could have done if you had been left to make your own choices.” – John Flavel

Book Recommendation:
Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts by Jerry Bridges
When life feels overwhelming and God seems distant, Jerry Bridges’ Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts serves as a theological anchor for the soul—a masterwork that has transformed over 500,000 readers by answering the heart’s deepest question: “Can I really trust God when everything falls apart?” Born from Bridges’ own crucible of suffering, this isn’t merely another book about enduring hardship; it’s a biblically-grounded guide that systematically demonstrates why God’s complete sovereignty, infinite wisdom, and perfect love make Him utterly trustworthy even when circumstances defy explanation. One reader powerfully testifies how the book “hounded into me the idea that all things happen for the glory of God and my absolute good” during her brother’s hospitalization, fundamentally changing her perspective on suffering. With its comprehensive study guide and reputation as “the most life-changing book” many believers have ever read, this work doesn’t offer easy answers but provides the solid theological foundation that will sustain you through any storm life brings.
