Grace and Peace to you brother.

Welcome to week 21! As we begin a new week together, let’s take a moment to reflect on how we can be wise stewards of all that we’ve been given. This is a wonderful opportunity to pause, seek guidance, and consider practical ways to handle our finances and possessions with faithfulness and integrity. Let’s journey together in growing our wisdom and trust as we manage our resources well.

Prayer:

God, grant me the wisdom to manage my resources well. (Luke 16:10-11)

Meditation:

Consider how you can be more faithful in managing your finances and possessions.

Quote:

“We are but stewards, and must render an account of our stewardship. Let us be diligent, that we may give a good account when our Master comes.”

- Charles Spurgeon

“Faithful stewardship is not measured by the size of our resources, but by our willingness to use what God has given us for His glory and the good of others.”

- Kevin DeYoung

Money, Possessions, and Eternity - Randy Alcorn

Randy Alcorn’s Money, Possessions, and Eternity is a comprehensive and thought-provoking exploration of what the Bible teaches about wealth, material possessions, and eternal priorities. Alcorn challenges readers to rethink their approach to money-not as an end in itself, but as a tool entrusted by God for our good, the good of others, and ultimately for God’s glory. Drawing on Scripture and practical wisdom, he addresses key questions such as why money matters to God, how to escape materialism, the pitfalls of prosperity theology, and the importance of generous giving, stewardship, and ethical financial practices.

The book urges believers to shift their focus from fleeting earthly treasures to lasting investments in God’s kingdom, emphasizing that every financial decision reflects deeper spiritual values and has eternal consequences. Alcorn’s insights encourage readers to live with eternity in mind, making choices that yield not just temporary comfort, but everlasting rewards. With its blend of biblical depth, practical advice, and a 13-lesson study guide, Money, Possessions, and Eternity is widely regarded as a classic resource for Christians seeking to align their finances with their faith.
