"Summer of Psalms", Psalm 138 (06-29-2008)
(14.3M)Pete Payne preaches the fourth message of our “Summer of Psalms.” Using Psalm 138, Pete asks us a series of questions. What hope occupies your thoughts? In both days that are filled with good things as well as days that you are facing struggles, what thoughts rose to an exalted position in your thinking? What rises to the exalted position of thinking in the mind of God? In vs. 2 the psalmist answers this question, “for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.” What relation to God’s thoughts and what He exalts have to my thoughts and what I exalt in my thinking? -

In verse after verse, David shows us how God knows everything about us, our thoughts, actions and words before they even happen. Christians should take comfort in the knowledge that God is with us every moment of the day and has not left us alone. -
